B. Pharmacy
Eligibility criteria
In order to secure admission through CAP to First Year of four year Degree Course in Pharmacy, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. Passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with
– English as one of the subjects.
– All the subjects mentioned under Group-I, &
– Any one of the subjects from Group-II.
AND
2. Secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in Physics, Chemistry and the subject of maximum marks amongst the subjects of Group-II, added together.
Group – I (All subjects from the group are compulsory)
- Physics
- Chemistry
Group – II (Any one of the subjects from the group)
- Mathematics.
- Biology.
AND
3. The candidate should qualify in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority of Government of Maharashtra, for the respective academic year. Maximum marks from amongst Mathematics and Biology will be considered in case if a candidate appears for Mathematics as well as Biology subject of MHT-CET.
4. The candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with 50% marks are eligible for admission to F.Y. B. Pharmacy against the vacancy after CAP round. The admission shall be as per rules and regulations of Govt. of Maharashtra.
5. Admissions to Direct S. Y. B. Pharm: Candidates passed D. Pharmacy with 50% marks.

Reservation of Seats
Admission to the reserved candidates will be provided as per rules and regulations of Govt. of Maharashtra for general category only. Appropriate testimonials as applicable and required should be submitted at the time of admission rounds.
Reservation for Female Candidates:
As per the provisions in Govt. Resolution No. GEC-1000(123/2000)/ Technical education, dated 17th April-2000, 30% seats of sanctioned intake shall be reserved for female candidates.
Application Form
The application form will be available for aspiring candidates at the college office.
Filling and submission of Application Form
Application should be duly filled and submitted to college office with necessary testimonials on or before last date as prescribed for the submission of application in the given admission schedule.
List of Documents required
Following documents (duly attested) should be submitted along with the application form:
1) HSC Mark list
2) MHT-CET Scorecard.
3) Diploma in Pharmacy Mark statement.
4) Leaving Certificate.
5) Nationality & Domicile Certificate.
6) The candidates claiming concessions for economically class (EBC) admitted in merit seat category according to the rules shall at the time of admission produce an income certificate from the Executive Magistrate.
7) In case of OMS category migration certificate.
All the original documents should be produced at the time of admission rounds.
Merit List
Each candidates who has submitted application form on or before the last date will be assigned a merit no. based on following criteria:
1. Marks obtained at MHT-CET.
2. Merit in case of tie –
In case of candidates securing equal number of marks, their relative merit will be fixed on the basis of following order of preference given below:
a) A candidate securing higher marks out of 100 in the subject of Biology / Maths whichever in maximum in MHT-CET.
b) A candidate securing higher marks out of 50 in the subject of Chemistry at the MHT-CET.
c) A candidate securing higher marks out of 50 in the subject of Physics at the MHT-CET.
d) A candidate passing the SSC (Std. X) examination with higher aggregate marks out of 750.
Change of Marks due to Verification
1. If marks in qualifying examination get modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent, the same should be reported to the representative of competent authority of the concerned university.
2. The effect of the change will be taken into consideration for CAP round only if the reporting of modified marks is done before the display of merit list or for the institute level rounds of admission which are due after the date of reporting.
Display of Merit List
Merit list will be displayed as assigned by competent authority.
Fees:
The candidates seeking admission should pay fees as per the following structure:
Tuition Fees (Per Year) & Development Fees : As prescribed by Shikshan Shulka Samiti.

- Awards for meritorious students according to the merit of respective year.
- Suitable schemes for meritorious students for up-liftment of academic results.
- “Earn & Learn Scheme”, for poor students.
- Students Safety Insurance Scheme.
Mode of Payment of Fees:
The candidate who has been offered a seat in college shall confirm the same by paying the prescribed fees in the form of D.D. or in the form of cash, which can be paid in Pravara Sahakari Bank. The D.D. should be drawn in favour of the Principal, College of Pharmacy, Vilad-Ghat, Ahmednagar.
Fees Refund due to cancellation of Admission:
As per the provision made in MHT-CET brochure.
Admission Cancelled Permanently / Transfer:
A candidate who wish to cancel or transfer his/her admission after one academic year have to pay the fees of entire remaining course.
M. Pharmacy
Eligibility
The eligibility for admission to M. Pharm course is as under:
The candidate who has passed the examination for the degree of B. Pharm of University of Pune or any other statutory University, recognized as equivalent thereto by this university, with at least 60% marks will be eligible for admission to one of the specializations of pharmacy mentioned above.
The post graduate student in the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will not be permitted to register his/her name simultaneously for Diploma or degree Course of University of Pune or any other College / Institution.
1) For Admission to M.Pharm. through GPAT Qualified Candidates
Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from AICTE approved institutions, with at least 50% marks ( atleast 45% marks in case of SC/ST category belonging to MaharashtraState only)
AND
Should have valid and qualified GPAT 2011 score
2) For Admission to M.Pharm. through MAH-MPH-CET 2011 Candidates:
Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from AICTE approved institutions, with at least 50% marks ( atleast 45% marks in case of SC/ST category belonging to MaharashtraState only)
AND
Should have Non zero score in MAH-MPH-CET 2011, if the candidate has neither appeared for GPAT nor having valid qualified GPAT score
Fees
The fees and deposits shall be as prescribed by the competent Authority appointed by Govt. of Maharashtra.
